This past week, I got to (virtually) sit down and have a fun little chat with up and coming indie author Rowyn Adelaide and we had a blast.
It all started after I read Fourth Wing this past August/September - that one book single-handedly yeeted me into the romantasy realm and… well. Here we are. At around the same time, my best friend got me into the world of ARCs (Advanced Reader Copy) and, before I knew it, I’d signed up and gotten 3. Of Withering Dreams, by Rowyn Adelaide, was one of those three. The first book in the upcoming Fate of the Ember series, OWD was a book that I not only looked forward to reading, but I made sure I could be uninterrupted while diving into it. You can actually read my spoiler-free review on Goodreads.
In a beautifully built and penned dark fantasy world where its inhabitants are required to sleep half their lives in order to ration out meals and essentials, Seryn discovers that things just… might not be as they’ve always seemed to be.
In this fun and exclusive interview, Rowyn talks about her upcoming series, challenging parts of writing, and talk about some what’s in store for the series’ future. You can watch our entire interview below:
Of Withering Dreams will be released in ebook, paperback, and hardback formats on March 20th! You can pre-order OWD on Amazon, add it to your Goodreads list, and follow Adelaide’s socials for more news and info.
