Playstation 5 finally got interface skins during an Anniversary event. You know what would be cooler?

Do you know what would be cooler, Sony? I bet you do.

See, I love Playstation. I've been a ride or die since I first, as a teen, put together the several hundred to get the Playstation 1 on launch day with just enough money left over to get Jumping Flash and Street Fighter the Movie the Game (I was young, okay?)

The start up noises of the PS1 and PS2 are the sort of things that can calm me down from a rage if played at the right volume. So when Playstation's 30th anniversary happened and the start up screen of my PS5 was replaced with the start up screens from the original PS1 I almost fainted.

My cluttered screen with the PS2 clock now hovering in the top right for a limited time because I picked the PS2 theme

Then I found out you can add themes based off older console generations. I went with PS2's because I have a deep love for the crystal clock and while the clock in the theme doesn't actually work it's amazing to have.

But here's the thing, if these settings can be switched...let us. That would be so much cooler than this tease. Actually give me the option to make the PS1 start up screen my launch screen with the PS2 crystal clock floating (and preferably working) in the top right of my screen. You showed us we can do it, let us. PLEASE.
