If there is one thing that the anime community is never short on, it is opinions.
Whether about who could or could not "canonically" beat Goku, or which Quintuplet should have gotten the man, or simply how your favourite show is "mid" compared to theirs. The time has come to let YOUR opinions be heard on another fantastic year of anime with the Crunchyroll Anime Awards!

This event will bring names from all across pop culture together to celebrate anime and honour the people that work so tirelessly to keep fresh anime in our lives.

The staggering list of names from all walks of life definitely shows how widespread anime has become, and I love it. I am personally excited to see 2024's VTuber of the Year, Ironmouse present, her most recent song "Cry for Me" has been stuck in my brain since it premiered at The Streamer Awards. I am also very excited to see permanent resident of The Anime Zone, Gigguk, be up on stage again as his reviews were inspirational to my own anime review journey.

Thus, continuations that are airing now do not qualify for nomination, like The Apothecary Diaries current arc for example.
