Wild Rift invites you to a Cosmic Adventure

It is Patch Preview O'Clock, folks, and Wild Rift players should be excited to see what's coming up in Patch 6.1 Ascending Stars on April 17th.

Patch 6.1 comes with a bran-new theme, plot-twists to the Ranked system, alternate game modes, new champions, and some awesome skins. Keep scrolling for a more detailed but still TL;DR version of the upcoming changes and additions.

Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars

This patch will unleash players into the Dual Nova theme, which not only looks really pretty, but also sets the tone as soon as you launch the game. Both stars are orbited by six constellations (Reward, Legendary, Medal, Glory, Rune, and Guardian) that home a plethora of goals and rewards.

Players choose between the Challenger's Star or Adventure's Star, and depending on their choice, they're then launched into a fun journey leading up to their chosen star. New Champions and Champion reworks coming to Wild Rift

Let's hear three cheers for three absolutely iconic and classic League of Legends champions that are finally making their way into the game: Nocturne, Ryze, and Zilean!

I can't when for my screen to go dark and for the impending panic attack to hit whenever Nocturne ults.

Champion reworks

Garen will be granted damage reduction through the Courage ability, with Judgment reducing the enemies' armor for even more damage.

Ambessa, aka Riot Mommy, is getting adjusted to fill in the Baron lane instead of Jungle with a reduction to her damage to monsters but an increase in life steal and displacement immunity.

Diana, Fiora, Jax, Kalista, and Sona are also getting reworks in this patch. Sona is my 3rd main (I swap her and Seraphine out a lot) and my eight-year-old's main, please don't ruin her.
